We are on the north side of Bridge Road between Lord Street and Docker Street, in the dense, active middle of inner-east Melbourne. Google Maps pin: maps.app.goo.gl/oABuNJF3rN2gvfqH6.

Directions from Major Suburbs

From Fitzroy and Collingwood. Head south on Smith Street or Brunswick Street, cross Victoria Parade, continue onto Hoddle Street, then turn right onto Bridge Road. The whole drive is six to ten minutes off-peak. Trams 12 (Victoria Street) and 109 (Victoria Parade) run into the area from Fitzroy if you prefer transit.

From South Yarra and Toorak. Head north on Punt Road, cross the Yarra via the Punt Road bridge, and turn right onto Bridge Road. Ten to fifteen minutes off-peak. Alternatively, cross at Church Street if Punt Road is heavy, and approach Bridge Road from the south. South Yarra station also connects via a short cross-city train transfer to Richmond Station.

From Hawthorn, Kew and Camberwell. Come down Barkers Road, across the Hawthorn Bridge, then turn right onto Bridge Road. Eight to fifteen minutes depending on traffic. The 48 and 75 trams also run east from the Hawthorn side directly to the studio.

From the Melbourne CBD. Head east down Flinders Street or Wellington Parade, continue onto Bridge Road once you cross Hoddle Street. Seven to twelve minutes off-peak. Alternatively, the 48 and 75 trams run directly from the CBD east along Bridge Road, or take any Richmond line train to Richmond Station or East Richmond Station.

From Toorak. Head north on Toorak Road or Punt Road, cross the Yarra, then east onto Bridge Road. Ten to fifteen minutes.

From Cremorne, Burnley and Abbotsford. All within walking or five-minute drive distance. Cremorne is a ten minute walk north up Church Street. Burnley is a five minute drive west along Swan Street and Bridge Road. Abbotsford is a six minute drive south-east down Nicholson Street and Hoddle Street.

Studio hours run across a standard Tuesday to Saturday week. Placeholder hours below (individual stylist hours vary):

  • Wednesday: 9am to 8pm
  • Thursday: 9am to 8pm
  • Friday: 9am to 6pm
  • Saturday: 9am to 5pm
  • Sunday and Monday: Closed

Parking

Parking options near 234 Bridge Road:

  • Metered on-street parking runs along Bridge Road, Lord Street and Docker Street. Two-hour and four-hour zones depending on which block.
  • Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre car park is 500 metres east of the salon (620 Victoria Street, Richmond). Paid, covered, and our default recommendation for three-hour-plus colour bookings.
  • Residential side streets one block north or south of Bridge Road often have longer unmetered parking on quieter weekdays. Check the signs carefully, some are resident-permit only.

For anything longer than two hours (most balayage and colour appointments), plan for Victoria Gardens rather than Bridge Road itself. Peak periods (Friday late afternoon, Saturday morning) are tight, so leave ten minutes early.

Trains

Richmond Station is a ten minute walk west on Bridge Road. All Richmond line services stop here (Glen Waverley, Belgrave, Alamein, Lilydale, Cranbourne, Pakenham, Frankston).

East Richmond Station is a six minute walk south, across Bridge Road and up a block. Same services, closer to the salon.

Trams

The 48 (North Balwyn to Victoria Harbour) and 75 (Etihad Stadium to Vermont South) run east-west along Bridge Road and stop directly outside our stretch of the street near Lennox Street. These are the two core lines for KOHORT clients.

Other nearby tram lines include the 12 (Victoria Street, one block north), the 109 (Victoria Parade, further north), the 70 (Swan Street, south), and the 78 (Church Street, connecting north to Collingwood and south to South Yarra and Prahran).

Bike

The Yarra Trail runs along the eastern and southern edge of Richmond and connects to the CBD, Collingwood, Abbotsford, Kew and beyond. Bike rings are available on the street near the salon. The Wellington Parade separated path from the CBD feeds directly onto Bridge Road at Hoddle Street.
